Calculate Accurate Date Of Delivery
- This calculator gives you two options for estimating EDD (estimated date of delivery.) Input any parameters to compare the two date calculations. The Current Date is set to your local workstation date.
Features

Gestational Age by LMP is calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period.

EDD by LMP is calculated by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last menstrual period.

Gestational Age by US is measured by ultrasound (US) on the Ultrasound Date.

EDD by US is the estimated date of delivery based on the Gestational Age by US and the Ultrasound Date.

This App Calculate the GA internally based on project criteria and gives the Best GA based on LMP or Ultrasound and gives the note whether the participant is eligible for study or not.

Gestational age is determined in the following manner, and for the purposes of the ACTION Trials is denoted “ACTION trial estimate of gestational age”.

All women should have an ultrasound for gestational age at some point during pregnancy. If an earlier dating ultrasound has not been performed, it should be performed as soon as possible, prior to completion of SCR form

If ultrasound has not been performed, or cannot be performed, the woman is ineligible The first day of the last menstrual period (LMP) is determined, and a judgment made by the treating clinician as to whether or not the patient has a “certain” or “uncertain” LMP date. This clinical judgment should be based on the women’s history (including menstrual cycle, history of hormonal contraception use, breastfeeding and other salient factors).

LMP date should be regarded as “certain” if (i) the date was certainly known by the woman (ii) she had a regular 24-32-day menstrual cycle, and (iii) she had not been on hormonal contraception or breastfeeding in the preceding 2 months.

The earliest available ultrasound (of sufficient quality) that estimates a gestational age should be identified and used for the purpose of this trial.

If the LMP is uncertain or unknown, the ultrasound-derived gestational age should be used (regardless of trimester)

If the LMP is certain, the LMP and ultrasound-derived gestational age estimates should be compared using the below table. This table has been adapted from the ACOG Committee Opinion on Method for Estimating Due Date .

In the event of a multiple pregnancy where the gestational age is discordant between babies, the older (higher) gestational age should be used
